Sharon Beld
Sport and manual podiatrist
Due to Sharon’s experience as a professional basket player, she knows like no other how it feels to be derailed by injuries. She always wants to get the most out of herself. Both in her top sport career in regular and 3×3 basketball, but also now as a podiatrist. With that drive she started Podotherapie Sharon Beld in 2015. What applies for Sharon, also applies for you as her patient. Get the most out of a treatment process so you are able again to get the most out of your daily activities at any level.
Sharon enjoys the challenge of distinguishing between cause and effect of the complaints, so she can optimize her treatment plan to come to the right solution. Because of her own background, (pro)sports has her interest. She knows the value of multidisciplinary cooperation and likes to work in a team.
Interaction is of paramount importance to her. It is important that you as a patient understand how to improve, so you can become the owner of the treatment process.

Myrthe Beld
Sport and manual podiatrist
A big part of Myrthe’s life consisted of prosport basketball. She played in the top competitions of Germany and Spain. Because of arthrosis of her knee she had to unfortunately quit her career prematurely. Where going through pain was a daily routine of playing pro sports she learned how important it is to handle your body well.
During her active sport career, she also kept her focus on her social objectives; let other people function as optimal as possible. Because of her injury history she knows how it feels to be unable to keep active, but even more important; how valuable it is to take care of your body.
She uses her own experience as motivation to treat patients (also preventatively) to accomplish the maximal result. This can vary from coming back to top sports, or become pain free in everyday life.

After this he followed with the Master sport podiatry. His interest for anatomy was strengthened even more so that he followed the Master ultrasound training. Through the combination of interest and broad knowledge, he is able to create a complete picture as possible of affected structures. In this way he can treat complaints effectively, curative as well as preventive.
Bram thinks it is important that his clients feel comfortable and understand what he is doing. He therefore likes to take the time to explain where certain complaints can come from and what treatment plan works best.

Podiatrist in training
Pro-sports began for Delaila when she was 14 years old, moving to Papendal for the Handball Academy. With a bronze medal at the 2018 European Championship and gold at the 2019 World Championship, her career unfortunately ended at the age of 24 due to three cruciate ligament injuries. During her third cruciate ligament injury, Delaila encountered Podotherapie Beld. This way of looking at the body and treating it opened her eyes. It led her to start her education to become a podiatrist, driven not only to make sports safer but also to help everyone with their complaints.
Due to her numerous injuries in the lower extremities, Delaila can empathise with what complaints and/or pain can do to a person. Ensuring that clients feel heard and involved in decisions about the most appropriate treatment plan is central to her.
Listening to the client, searching for the cause of the problem, and then working on it is what makes her enjoy this profession so much.
